اگر در زمان حادثه نام و نشانی خود را ندهید، در اولین فرصت و در هر صورت ظرف ۲۴ ساعت حادثه را به پلیس گزارش دهید. اگر شخص دیگری مجروح شده و شما در زمان حادثه گواهی بیمه‌ی خود را به پلیس یا هر شخص دیگری که دلیل منطقی برای درخواست آن دارد ارائه ندهید، باید همچنین: • حادثه را در اولین فرصت و در هر صورت ظرف ۲۴ ساعت به پلیس گزارش دهید • گواهی بیمه‌ی خود را یا هنگام گزارش حادثه یا ظرف ۷ روز (۵ روز در ایرلند شمالی) در هر ایستگاه پلیسی ارائه دهید.
