Approaching a dip in the road
مطمئن شوید هنرجوی شما می‌داند پیش از بیرون رفتن برای سبقت، باید مطمئن باشد که کامل کردن مانور ایمن است. برای اطمینان، باید بتواند به اندازه‌ی کافی جلو را ببیند. اگر چیزی دیدش را مسدود یا محدود می‌کند، نمی‌تواند بداند جاده‌ی پیش رو خالی است یا نه و بنابراین نباید سبقت بگیرد.
Make sure your pupil knows that before they move out to overtake, they must be sure that it's safe to complete the manoeuvre. In order to be sure, they must be able to see far enough ahead. If anything is obstructing or restricting their view, they cannot know whether the road ahead is clear and, therefore, should not overtake.
